Using data effectively
Data has been a key discussion point within wholesale for a number of years and with the rapid growth of digital, it’s only becoming more pressing.
As wholesalers embrace their e-commerce channels, the sheer amount of data they’re creating is huge. Yet, sometimes it can be difficult to understand what the most important numbers are and what to do with the insight gained from them when you do.
One wholesaler who’s pretty au fait with all things data is HT Drinks with its consumer-facing Drink Supermarket meaning they’re used to handling lots of data on a daily basis. And that was the topic of Ravi Kotecha (who is Managing Director of Drink Supermarket) as he asked our eWholesale Collective panel which data is most important to collect and analyse.
For what’s been quite a contentious subject between wholesalers and suppliers in the past, the conversation tackles several key concerns and provides some valuable guidance to help those still grappling with their data.
